I really enjoyed "Diff'rent Spoons"! I couldn't believe I got caught up in the problems of this twisted cutlery (the porn mag story was genuinely compelling!). A very funny strip, and clearly the best sitcom I've seen this year.

I'm not sure if he actually read the strips, it certainly doesn't sound like it. My hope is that some hint, any hint, of "Diff'rent Spoons" finds it's way onto The Simpsons, we sue, and get a big fat settlement check from Matt Groening. A warning for new readers. Apparently newer versions of IE have this feature where it automatically resizes any images you're trying to view to fit your screen. That's all fine and good for them, but unfortunately this resizing makes the text in some DS episodes virtually impossible to read. They're the size they are for a reason, but I guess Microsoft in their infinite wisdom has decided to make that call for us. The point is if this happens to you, you have to hit the "restore to the right size" button that should pop up when you hold the mouse over the image. It looks like this:
